Harry Cottam, aged 9, and his cousin Leighton Hock, aged seven, will be cycling 50 laps at the Pure Stadium this Saturday (24 October) while the Southport FC are playing away at Blyth Spartans to raise funds for the club.
The close friends have the club colours running through their veins and love to watch their favourite team in action.
They were determined to help the club after hearing how fans would not be allowed in to watch our games this season.
Harry is a pupil at St Patrick’s Primary School in Marshside, while Leighton goes to St Aiden’s primary school in Wigan.
So far they have raised over £1,600, which is amazing – it’s about £1,400 more than they set out to do originally.
The club have wished the boys luck and will be at the ground on Saturday to capture the challenge on camera.
