Drivers warned of huge pothole in town centre

A massive pothole has opened up on Avondale Road in Southport.

The huge hole is two foot long and has only been discovered earlier today near to the former Positano italian restaurant on Avondale Road.

Sefton council have been informed but drivers have been warned that the road remains open and potentially dangerous.
