Driver ploughs into parked cars in Southport

A motorist smashed into a parked car along Scarisbrick New Road, Southport at around 5.30pm, Wednesday 28 September 2016.

Witnesses at the scene reported that the VW Golf was traveling at around 50mph when he ran into a parked car.

Members of the public helped clear the scene.

Fortunately no one was seriously injured in the collision.
