Drink drivers stopped in Birkdale

Drink drivers are being caught in a stop check point in Birkdale.

Eagle eyed officers are pulling over drivers in random Christmas spot checks to see if anyone is driving over the limit.

During the Christmas party season often drivers will take more risks even if they do not feel over the limit.

Their dangerous actions are now being tackled by police in a number of ways including a random stop and check on Waterloo Road as well as Police giving out single use breath tests.
