A £3,000 donation by members of the Southport and Formby National Trust Association has enabled staff at Formby Point to improve safety and security.
Radio equipment has been purchased and installed in the vehicles used on site helping
staff maintain constant communication across the coastal area.
National Trust area ranger Justin Matthews said: “The radios have greatly assisted the response times and management of reported incidents.”
Frank Hyland, chairman of the Southport and Formby National Trust Association added: “Our aim is to promote and develop the work of the trust locally.
“Any money raised through our events is donated to local trust projects.”
