Dog days are over after campaigners raise enough to save lovable pooch

A campaign has been launched to save a loveable pooch.

Southport woman Sheryl Flint is calling on kind hearted dog lovers in the town to donate to a GoFundMe page to save the troubled pooch.

Now enough funds have been raised to save Ella and bring her to Southport, after her owner demanded £150 to give her away.

Sheryl said: “As you all are aware Ella had a very bad start in life.

“she is a nervous wreck and doesn’t deserve the life she’s got.

“The owner is living in Wigan and gave her up to have her fostered but now took her back!

“The owner said we can have Ella but they want £150.

“We need to raise this money asap as they have Ella back now and i dread to think what the poor dog is going through now.

“She was really starting to turn a corner and was doing so well and now she will be so scared with the owner.”
