Superstar DJ Adele Roberts has heaped praise on “lifesaver” medical staff who came to her mums aid in Southport.
The BBC Radio celebrity, who also comes from the resort, said her mum fell sick over Christmas.
A number of medical personnel were called to help Adele’s mum, who is now reportedly on the mend.
Adele said: “ Thank you to Outreach carers, St Mark’s district nurses and Sefton council for going above and beyond to help my Mum when she needed you the most.
Working out of hours, doing long days, being on call and away from their own families over the Christmas period is truly outstanding.
The passion they have for what they do is second to none and they do it all expertly and without expecting recognition. I’m in awe.
One of the ladies who helped us was working from home, un paid, on a bank holiday. If it was up to me she’d have been getting triple pay! I couldn’t believe it.
“I am so grateful for everything you’ve done for my Mum and our family. You’re absolute angels
It’s been the biggest lesson in what Christmas is all about (to me).
“Ultimately It’s your loved ones, spending time with them and special memories that matter the most.
”The way my Mum has been looked after and cared for is the best present I could ever receive.”
