Dive right in and join Southport Swimming Club

Calling all adult swimmers!

Southport Masters are a group of over-18 swimmers who are affiliated to Southport Swimming Club.

They are calling on water enthusiasts to join them for training and to make friends at their sessions at Dunes, Southport and Marshside Leisure Centre.

Member Helen Jenkins said: “Swimming doesn’t have to be lonely. Instead of showing up to the pool by yourself, why not join a group of fellow swimmers and make some friends along the way?

We like to keep fit doing something we enjoy and challenging ourselves to improve our technique. Some members compete at Masters Events in pools all over the world. Some prefer to take part in open water events and others use the pool sessions to help improve the swim leg of their triathlons.

But some of us just don’t com- pete at all and just like to keep fit with like minded people.
