Free internet taster sessions are once again taking place across Sefton to help more people get online.
Sefton Libraries are taking part in ‘Be online’ weeks from Monday 23 February to Sunday 8 March as part of a nationwide campaign, co-ordinated by UK Online Centres.
The taster events are aimed at beginners or people with limited computer experience to help them discover how they can get the best out of the internet.
Sessions are free but places are limited and advanced booking is essential. Details of times and dates for the ‘tasters’ to be held in our libraries are available below.
Dave Ewing, sessions co-ordinator for the library service, said: “It doesn’t matter if you’ve never even touched a computer before or just know a little bit, please come along and give it a go. We want people to spend an enjoyable hour or so, learning how to get the best out of the internet. To have online skills is becoming increasingly important in our society.”
To book a place please visit or telephone your local library.
