Disabled Aaron conquers seaside 10K

A Southport boy has conquered the Seaside 10K today as he desperately tries to raise money for a new school bus.

Aaron Bishop is trying to raise funds for Merefield School in Ainsdale to replace their ageing school bus.

Although confined to a wheelchair, the youngster managed to beat the challenging 10k route through Princes Park.

His mum Caz Bishop said: “Aaron would like to thank southport for there amazing donations he did the sea side 10k today to help raise money for a new school bus as the last one is very old.

“He had support from shops and gyms plus a local wine bar, Dw gym , Brewers fayre, pines and blades barbers.”
