Decorators move in to shift BHS rubbish ahead of refurb
Workers have been spotted in the former BHS store this morning.
The painters and decorators were in early fitting out and removing excess rubbish ahead of what could be a major refurb of the building.
The site hasn’t been touched since ex BHS staff left almost overnight when the chain collapsed.
The building, owned by a pension company, has been up for lease for nearly three years now with only passing interest.
However this latest development may signal a change in the building’s fortunes.
