Are you looking for a great, free fireworks display PLUS great, free entertainment?
Southport Pleasureland will be hosting their own special ‘Day of the Dead’ themed Fireworks Festival on Saturday 4th November which will have a grand pyrotechnics display to celebrate the last weekend of their 2017 season.
There will be a fantastic celebration of this traditional Mexican festival which is guaranteed to bring colour, music and a great carnival atmosphere.
The park will ensure that this family-friendly event will appeal to everyone and is hoping that all the family will participate by wearing the famous sugar skull face paint or masks and donning fancy dress to join in the fun. The resident artists will also be on hand to help out with face painting throughout the day. If you’re not familiar with this theming, just take a look at Spectre, the James Bond movie for inspiration!
Fun and a great atmosphere are guaranteed with our stilt walkers through the day and with the carnival theme ramping up from 3pm. The evening will see more stilt walkers, fire breathers and Batala Mersey, the samba drumming band, performing before and after the fireworks, providing the beats to keep visitors warm!
The rides and attractions will be open all day from 12 noon until late into the evening.
As always, the park is free to enter and all of the entertainment and the display are free to our visitors to watch and enjoy. So why pay for a display when you can go to Pleasureland’s display for free!
