Daredevil Friends of top tattooist to skydive in his memory

Friends and family of a tattoo artist who passed away are fulfilling his dream to skydive more than 15,000ft and they are taking his ashes along on the plunge!

Dave Smith, who ran a tattoo shop on Shakespeare Street, passed away aged 61 at Queenscourt Hospice in Southport on January 14, after a long battle with cancer.

Now his close friends Charlotte Symington, 33, Jenny Botha, 34 and Sally Anne Botha, 25, his sister-in- law Kate Smith, 57, niece Jenny DeeSmith, 24 and nephews Craig Grazier, 33 and Andrew Grazier, 31, will take on the challenge to mark what would have been his 62nd birthday on June 16.
