Southport is once again being hit by the laughing gas craze.
Shocked businesses on King Street opened their stores this morning and were forced to sweep empty canisters of laughing gas into the street.
Up to thirty empty cans of nitrous oxide were scattered across the road after a late night drug binge.
One shop owner said he had been told that teens gather at the rear of the Prince Of Wales car park out of sight of the police to take the legal high.
