Damien Moore recently visited Greenbank High School in Southport as he continued his tour of the constituency’s primary and secondary schools.
Greenbank High School is an all-girls secondary academy with over 900 students. The school, which became an academy in 2011, is the only all-girls school in the Sefton local authority.
During Damien’s visit to Greenbank, he met with the Head Teacher Mr Ian Raikes and had a tour of the school and its facilities.
Speaking about his visit, Damien said:
“I was delighted that I had the opportunity to discuss the school’s recent successes, including its long-standing record for international fieldtrips and sporting capabilities with Mr Raikes. As a strong mental health advocate, I was also encouraged to learn that mental health was being taken seriously and that it is being made a priority at Greenbank.”
