Cyclists rejoice at new lane works in resort

Contractors are ripping up part of the promenade and Coronation Walk this week to make more room for cyclists

Workers on site told OTS News they’ve been asked by the council rip up part of the pavement to create a brand new cycle path and improve the junction near to the former Kingsway nightclub

The works include a new junction layout and extended crossing point at the busy intersection.

The cycle path will form an extended connection between the town centre and the coastal path
