Cyclist treated by paramedics after car collision

Emergency services attended a collision between a car and a cyclist on the corner of Scarisbrick New Road and Westmoreland Road this afternoon.

The collision occured at approximately 2.30pm.

Paramedics attended the cyclist, who was later transported to hospital.

The driver was unharmed and was spoken to by police at the scene. No arrests were made.
