A cyclist who was struck by a mystery accident and left with serious injuries and no memory is seeking help to find out what happened.
The cyclist, who spoke on condition of anonymity, has no memory of the accident and only recalls good Samaritans helping him after the crash.
He said “On Saturday 23rd Feb I was involved in a cycling accident on the seafront near The Zebra crossing by the sluice gates up from KFC which resulted in a 6 day stay in hospital due to fractures in ribs, shoulder and vertebrae in neck plus a small lung puncture.
What I am after is, I am looking for any witnesses to the accident as I blacked out at the point of impact and have no recollection of what happened just before the accident and only remember coming round when a man called Liam was helping me and called an ambulance.
Any witnesses coming forward and helping with information would be great.”
