A Crime Alert for the residents of SOUTHPORT from Merseyside Police.
Residential Burglaries
Between the 25th February and 7th March, burglaries have taken place in the following locations:
Pitt Street, Hollybrook Road, Portland Street, Park Road West, Banastre Road, Hawkshead Street, Hope Square, Hargreaves Street and Princes Street
Car keys and vehicle stolen 2
Insecure properties 3
Attempted 2
PCSO’s are in the process of visiting the victims at each address and have conducted house to house enquiries. They have also letterdropped the areas to make local residents aware, so that they can review their own home security, to try to reduce further victims. Investigations into the crimes continue.
The autumn and winter home security advice we gave in November is still relevant. Please take a look to see what you can do to further secure your home. It is important to keep doors and windows locked at all times.
