Burglaries

Between the 4^th August and the 18^th August burglaries or attempted burglaries have taken place in the following locations:

Balfour Road, Seaton Way, Blowick Moss Lane (2), Preston New Road, Queens Road, Sawdon Avenue, Claremont Avenue (shed), Bankfield Lane, Scarisbrick New Road, Portland Street

Properties left insecure 2 

Thefts from Vehicles

During the same period of time thefts from vehicles took place in:

Zetland Street, Lord Street, Liverpool Road, Vulcan Street, Cobden Road, Larkspur Road, Forest Road

Crime Prevention Tips

In all of the above incidents valuable items were taken from inside the vehicles. Residents are advised to double check the vehicle has indeed been locked when using the remote control, by trying the doors themselves as an extra precaution.
