Good natured police officers in West Lancs have reacted with delighted at a novel take on the force.

A resident of Moss Road in Halsall has come up with an innovative scarecrow dressed as the forces finest.

Such is the popularity of the novel scarecrow cyclists are going out of their way to pose with it and officers from Lancashire Constabulary have commented to the homeowner that it has brought a smile to their face.
