St Marks Medical Centre and Trinity Practice at the heart of Southport City Centre are proud to be serving their patients in these very difficult circumstances.Whilst all appointments are being triaged and most are being dealt with phone and both Practices and TCG staff are working hard. Some GP’s even if they have symptoms have continued working from home making sure that prescriptions are being issued and problems being resolved for all patients. Patients are asked not to come to the Practice but call instead. Phone call volumes are very high, and they need to be patient but the Practices are continuing to provide as a normal a service as possible.
Eric Balki a senior Partner and Director said “I am terribly proud of the team providing such an amazing service despite the problems we are facing both practically and logistically. I ask that all patients respect the social distancing measures that have been introduced by the government, and if anyone suspects they have any symptoms they should stay at home and seek the advice of NHS 111 online. They should also rest assured that prescriptions can be processed electronically and pharmacies will remain open.”
The administrative staff at the Practices are continuing to work hard in providing services, and the public is asked to be patient and respectful whilst they deal with a surge in workload.
