Contractors have torn down yet another tree on Lord Street

Contractors have torn down yet another tree on Lord Street.

The dead oak was ripped down early this morning near to the monument on London Street.

The entire tree will now be taken away and chipped up, leaving a huge pathway for people to walk through now after the tree, which has been there hundreds of years, is no longer there to get in the way.
