This weekend, Damien Moore MP visited local SME Plughole Planters as part of his commitment to support small businesses in the general election.
Established by Morgan Griffin in Southport, Plughole Planters design and produce hand-crafted outdoor and indoor planters exerptly made of larch wood or up cycled charred pallet wood, using an up cycled acrylic bath, shower tray, or kitchen sink that would otherwise have gone to landfill.
Commenting, Damien Moore MP said:
“I was delighted to meet with Morgan Griffin of plughole planters. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, locally and nationally, and it’s important they are provided with support and recognition.
“Taking materials which would otherwise have gone to landfill or incineration and transforming them into pieces of garden furniture is a great concept and we need more entrepreneurs and small businesses like Morgan and Plughole Planters in Southport.”
