Constituency visit to Crossens Nursery School

27th February 2018

Damien Moore has visited Crossens Nursery School in Southport as he expanded his tour of the constituency’s primary and secondary schools to nursery.

Crossens is a Nursery School on Preston New Road with approximately 90 pupils. The nursery is the only facility in the borough rated as ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED.

During Damien’s visit to Crossens Nursery, he met with Head Teacher Mrs Suzanne Payne to discuss concerns with regards to school places and funding after taking a tour of the schools facilities.

Damien said:

“Crossens Nursery School is the only state sponsored nursery in the Borough with an OFSTED report of ‘outstanding’ and it’s performance is commendable. It is easy to see why so many parents are wanting to send their children to attend.”
