Damien Moore recently visited Churchtown Primary School in Southport as he continued his tour of the constituency’s primary and secondary schools.
The primary school is one of the largest in the country with over 800 pupils. In 2017, the school was rated as ‘good’ with ‘outstanding’ for behaviour and safety of pupils by OFSTED.
During Damien’s visit to Churchtown Primary School, he met with the Head Teachers, Mrs. Jinnie Payne, and Mrs. Belinda Taylor.
Speaking about his visit, Damien said:
“My meeting with the Head Teachers at Churchtown was very productive.
I was impressed by the passion that they displayed for their school and I am confident that they will continue to achieve the already high standards at Churchtown.
I will continue to work with Mrs Payne and Mrs Taylor in the future to facilitate the best possible working environment and school for the students.”
