Conker picking child narrowly avoids used needle

Piles of used drug needles have been stashed away in bushes in the town centre.

A young mum and her child we’ve picking conkers near to the bandstand this morning when they discovered piles of used hypodermic needles scattered around the area.

The mum is now warning others to be careful after the near miss
