Concerns grow for safety of missing pensioner

An elderly man has gone missing in Southport.

89 year old John Munnelly was last seen yesterday evening (Friday 12th).

police are now appealing for anyone who may have any idea of where John is to get in touch urgently.

He’s 5ft 7in, speaks with an Irish accent & was wearing a grey & blue striped top, dark jacket, black trousers & black cap.

Officers say they have been told John is known to frequent the areas of Hesketh Park, Southport town centre and Southport Marine Lake.
