Competition heats up to buy rare Southport whisky

A rare and one of a kind whisky bottled exclusively for a Southport festival is attracting dozens of bids at auction.

The Bimber Single Cask is currently up for auction and is set to sell for hundreds of pounds when the bidding ends in 9 days time.

Exclusively bottled for the Southport Whisky Festival, headed up by the popular businessman Victor Porter, the single cask is said to be a much coveted drink among fans of the liquor.

Distilled at the Bimber distillery which is located in London with the first casks being laid down on 26th of May 2016.

This single cask release was bottled exclusively for the Southport Whisky Festival. This expression has been laid down to mature in a single American oak ex-bourbon cask for an undisclosed length of time before being bottled in July 2020 free from chill filtration and artificial colouring with each bottle being individually numbered.
