Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority (MRWA) and Veolia Environmental Services have launched their £110,000 Community Fund to find the best ideas for reducing, recycling and reusing household waste across Merseyside and Halton over the next year.
The Fund includes £25,000 for projects operating across Merseyside and Halton and up to £8,000 for projects operating within a single local authority area.
Community and Voluntary Sector groups, not for profit social enterprises and schools in Merseyside and Halton can apply for the Community Funding.

Submissions must be received by Wednesday 4 March 2015. Shortlisted groups will then be invited to submit a more detailed entry. Successful projects will be expected to go live in June this year.
