People are being invited to enjoy the High Park Christmas Tree lights switch on event on the evening of Friday 24th November 2023 outside the One Stop Shop on Bispham Road.
This will be the third time the Christmas Tree will be returning to High Park thanks to local councillors ward funds and Brighter Living Partnership’s High Park Project providing funding for the event activities.
It is hoped people will be able to come together once again to sing carols around a Christmas tree on Bispham Road and celebrate the community.
The night starts from 5.30pm with a special visit from Santa, carol singing from local church choir groups and music from the Salvation Army Brass Band, the Christmas tree switch on at 6:15pm and a local singer performing modern Christmas hits from 6:15-7pm.
Joe McNulty, Community Organiser for the High Park Project, said: “We hope the community will be able to join us for this to celebrate their spirit with song at this wonderful time of year!”
The High Park Project is a National Lottery funded project and is funding the activity and fencing of the Christmas tree with Norwood Ward councillors funding the tree and lights.
