Coastal road reopened after rush hour smash

Traffic has now started to move again after an accident on the coast road.

Police have closed one lane to Southport bound traffic causing major delays after a smash between Pontins and Weld Road during the morning rush hour.

A speeding hatchback lost control and smashed into another car leading to Major tailbacks and delays for furious drivers.

Police are working hard to full reopen the road.
