Attending Conferences in the US
If you are looking to travel to the US for the Women of Silicon Valley event, or any other business conferences, make sure that you are up to date with the requirements of the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). An ESTA grants you permission for business (or tourist) travel to the US and can be applied for using the online ESTA application form.
How to Apply for ESTA
Simply visit the ESTA website and fill in the required details, using the ESTA application guide if you need any assistance. Travelling in a group? You can also submit an ESTA group application to get the paperwork all completed together. You should apply for your ESTA at least 72 hours before you intend to fly, to avoid any holdups affecting your travel arrangements. You should get a quick response but occasionally there can be unforeseen delays.
