Christians Walk Of Witness to mark the Easter period and Good Friday

Eager Christian fundamentalists took over Lord Street this morning for the annual Southport Walk Of Witness to mark the Easter period and Good Friday.

Hundreds of parishioners walked from Christ Church to the Bandstand on Lord street as they worshipped and prayed.

The traditional Walk Of Witness is a national event with thousands of churches and parishioners across the country mark the time when Jesus was allegedly crucified and resurrected.

The Walk did nothing to help frustrated drivers however who were already stuck in busy bank holiday traffic.

REAL crucifixions have been staged to mark Good Friday commemorations of the alleged death of Christ in a shocking, blood-soaked display of religious extremism in the Philippines.
