Christ the King raises a staggering amount for Macmillan

On Friday 30th September 2016, Christ the King Sixth Form students organised a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan.  They worked exceptionally hard to get support from local businesses, parents, staff and the local community.  On the day they were overwhelmed with the generosity and support and made a staggering £1,073.00 for such a worthwhile charity.

The students would like to thank everyone that supported them whether you were a local business who donated to us, a pupil who bought cakes or raffle tickets, parents and the local community who turned up to support us on the day and the staff who baked, helped and bought cakes.  They couldn’t have done it without you.
