Children forced to dodge razor blades in danger park

Parents are being told to keep their children away from a popular park in Southport after vandals littered it with broken glass and razor blades.

Parents are being told to avoid the playground and park area on Canning Road in Southport after others discovered it was covered in discarded razor blades and broken glass from bottles of alcohol.

One parent said “We took our kids for an afternoon walk and play in canning road park there was glass everywhere and razor blades on the grass near the round about some hidden in the grass.”
