The Southport Tavern, opening this April.
Burning Night Group has acquired the freehold interest in the Albert Hotel in Southport, Merseyside, for its new brand, Authentic Alehouses, The Southport Tavern.
Authentic Alehouses director Allan Harper said they were pleased to be able to acquire this unit and look forward to showing the people of Southport what they have planned.
“This is a great building and, as with all the sites we take on, we have a brilliant refurbishment planned,” he explained.
“We are confident that this unit can become one of our flagship Authentic Alehouse’s sites, we have some exciting things in store and look forward to celebrating the opening with the people of Southport.”
The new Authentic Alehouses brand targets freehold pubs, offering refurbishment before operating as principally non-tenanted public houses. Burning Night Group’s other examples include The Albert Hotel in Hull as well as The Countess Of Rosse on the western edge of Saltaire Retail Parade, west of Bradford.
The Southport Tavern will boast an impressive real ale menu as well as a fantastic food offering including some homemade pub classics such as fish and chips.
The grand opening for The Southport Tavern will be on Friday April 13th, from midday.
