Charity shop doners drive staff mad with rule breaking

5th March 2018

Charity shop staff are fuming at misguided people who keep leaving donations outside of their store.

Staff at the British Red Cross charity shop on Ashley Road, Southport  say well meaning donors are leaving items outside the shop overnight leaving them to get soaked or ruined in the poor weather.

Most of the items have to be thrown away instead of going to help good causes.

Today a sofa and boxes of items were left outside the shop and staff think most of it will have to be thrown out because it was left overnight.

They are asking donors to respect opening hours and only drop off items when the shop is open
