CCTV Appeal | Callous thief helps himself to an iPad from a Southport pet store

A callous thief has stolen an iPad from a Southport pet store in broad daylight but staff are hoping clear cctv footage will be his undoing.

he male, thought to be in his late 30s was caught on covert camera lifting an iPad belonging to a member of staff at the Pet Warehouse on Shakespeare Street yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 19 July 2017).

The unknown male walked into a staff only area where he thought he was out of sight and brazenly stole the £600 tablet before making a swift getaway.

Merseyside Police are now asking anyone who may recognise the male pictured to get in touch with them by calling 101.

The male is of average build, Caucasian with short brown hair and was wearing a white sports t shirt and white shorts at the time of the robbery.
