CCTV appeal following violent burglary at ex Liverpool FC Chairman’s luxury Halsall home
This CCTV footage shows the violent burglars who carried out a sickening attack against for the former owner of Liverpool FC at his home near Southport.
Lancashire Police have today released the footage as they ask local people for their help too try and track down the callous raiders.
The appeal was made as the BBC’s Crimewatch Roadshow came to Merseyside today.
Former Liverpool FC chairman David Moores was left with a series of serious injuries in the shocking crowbar robbery.
At around 8:45pm, two men have forced their way into the property and made demands for cash and jewellery from Mr Moores, 69.
The victim was threatened and assaulted, with the thieves managing to get away with jewellery and watches.
The victim was taken to Aintree Hospital to be treated got head and leg injuries.
