CCTV Appeal following attempted burglary in Birkdale this morning (1.45am)

A Birkdale resident is appealing for help identifying the two males that attempted to break into her property in the early hours of this morning, Friday 30 December 2016.

The home owner told OTSNews.co.uk: “This happened at 1:45am this morning on Liverpool Road, at the junction of Waterloo Road.”

“They were scared off by my dogs which woke me, but we went down the road and a lot of people’s gates were wide open, looks like they have been garden hopping. They ran off down Central Avenue.”

The incident has also been reported to Merseyside Police.
