Detectives want to identify a number of people who could provide vital information in connection with a shooting in Skelmersdale.
Around 1.30pm on October 15 three men aged 46, 45 and 21 were injured following a firearms discharge at a property in Belfield.
The men were taken to hospital for treatment and are continuing to recover from their injuries.
Following extensive enquiries a man was later arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Detectives now want to identify a five people seen in the area before and at the time of the discharge.
- Person 1 – has been identified and we no longer need to speak to him.
- Person 2 – 12:59pm – man walking in the area of Belfield – white male, large build, beard, wearing a dark coloured Under Armour baseball cap, orange hoodie, yellow reflective tabard. Dark-coloured sweat pants with dark coloured trainers with three white stripes on. Believed to be a delivery driver.
- Person 3 – 1.23pm – woman walking in the area of Belfield– white female, blonde hair which may be tied up at the back, wearing a dark green/grey jacket with hood, blue jeans and blue type pumps with white soles. She is carrying a brown coloured handbag in her left hand and has a black lanyard with white writing around her neck.
- Person 4 – 1.38pm – man walking in the area of Belfield. White male, dark hair and beard, blue hooded jacket, grey jogging bottoms, wearing sliders and socks. Phone in left hand.
- Person 5 – 1.17pm – woman walking in the area of Belfield/ White female with blonde hair, multi-coloured top, black leggings, white trainers. Carrying a large carrier bag in her right hand.
Det Insp Steve Monk, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are appealing for information to help identify these individuals.
“I must stress we believe they could help with our enquiries and they are not being treated as suspects.
“If you are pictured, or you recognise one of the people pictured, please come forward and contact police immediately.”

Thomas Anderson, 21, of no fixed address, has been charged with three offences of attempted murder and of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. He appeared at Preston Magistrates’ Court in December.
