Two wrecked cars have today been left on the side of a main route into Southport, Monday 5 February 2018.
A van driver escaped without injury after smashing into two parked cars on Sunday afternoon.
Both a Ford Focus and VW UP have been left severely damaged after a RTC at the BP Garage near to the old Shakespeare Pub on Scarisbrick New road.
The Volkswagen suffered extensive damage, with the back window smashed and much of the area around the rear, right wheel crushed. The front bumper also became mostly detached from the rest of the car.
The parked Ford was also left in a poor condition, with the windscreen smashed in.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said that no injuries were reported and that, due to a lack of witnesses and CCTV, the incident is not being investigated.
