Car smashes into garage wall as police hunt danger driver


Police are hunting a Vauxhall after it smashed into a wall and destroyed it on Virginia Street, Southport last night (Thursday 29 June 2018).

Officers are keen to trace an 05 plate Vauxhall with a registration plate ending in TU, A local resident told OTS News said:

“ At around 11pm a car crashed through a double skin brick wall and metal railing. Some force by the look of the scattered bricks. Part of a bumper and partial number plate indicate Vauxhall approx. 2005 reg. number plate ends in “TU”.

The car must be very badly damaged. This happened at Linwar Motors BMW 40-44 Virginia Street. Pillar needs to be taken down for safety and wall and pillar re-built.
