Car ends up on its side after crash in Southport

Police closed Upper Aughton Road in both directions following an accident earlier this evening, Monday 30th March 2020.

Witnesses at the scene told our reporter:

“The diver of a black Ford Fiesta lost control down the busy street, luckily not crashing into the parked cars. ”

“Occupants miraculous escaped with only minor injuries.”

The road was closed in both directions whilst police carried out work and cleared the debris left from the crash.
