Car crashes and lands in the middle of a field

Rescue crews are working to remove a car that skidded off Jacksmere Lane and ended up trapped in a field.

The dark-colored Ford came spinning off the road between Jacksmere Lane and Heathey Lane earlier today after the driver lost control of the vehicle and spun off into the deep mud of a farmer’s field.

Recovery crews have been called and are trying to recover the car.

Police are aware of the incident and are carrying out an investigation into the circumstances around the crash.
