Police are investigating a massive car fire in the early hours of this morning in Southport town centre.
Emergency services were called to Knowsley Road in the early hours after a BMW car caught fire.
Emergency services remain on the scene at 6am still trying to extinguish the blaze.
Police are expected to launch an investigation shortly into the cause and OTS understands foul play is suspected.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
