Trinity Arts, who organise the event, is now accepting applications for the competition, now in its fifth year and sponsored by Whittakers Schoolwear. The winner receives a trophy, £100 and the opportunity to perform in the iconic Holy Trinity Church.
Last year’s winner Victoria Woodier said, “It’s been an excellent experience, it’s given me confidence in performing and a chance to try different types of music.”
You don’t have to live in Southport to enter.

· Percussion
· Piano
Students between Year 3 through to Year 13/ sixth form may enter the competition. Heats will be held between 1-4 July with the final on Friday 5 July, at Holy Trinity Church, Southport. It costs £3 to enter.
