Emergency services are currently dealing with a bad crash on the Formby Bypass near Woodvale.
The Southbound carriageway is currently closed to traffic.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said “Motorists please be aware of an RTC southbound on the Formby Bypass near to Royal Air Force Woodvale. We are on scene but road closures are in place, so please avoid the area.”
