Burnt out tranny van in Grove Street, Birkdale 

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to Grove Street in Birkdale in the early hours of this morning to reports of a Ford Transit on fire (Thursday 24 August).

One appliance from Southport Community fire station attended the scene, Crews quickly extinguished the blaze.

The cause of the fire is not known at the present time.
